It’s finally here!

For seven years, I’ve been living my childhood dream of making comics for a living, and your support on Patreon has been an important part of that. My humor strip Bestie (Bestis in Norwegian) runs in newspapers across Norway, Sweden, and Finland, where I get to tell fast-paced friendship stories loosely based on my lifelong friendship with Marthe. She’s a great sport, suffering through relentless teasing and being drawn with less-than-perfect posture and sad sacks of rice for breasts! She loves it though ;).

My style relies heavily on a loose, high-energy lineart and ridiculous expressions to bring the punchlines to life. Dig deep enough through the shenanigans, and you’ll find some really wholesome moments too, I promise.

Beyond being an homage to friendship, this comic helps me remember not to take life too seriously and to keep things playful ... especially in everyday life. And I hope it does the same for you!

Here in the shop, Bestie is available for the first time in chronological volumes. These self-published books offer the ultimate reading experience, featuring premium colors and exclusive, behind-the-scenes bonus content. I’m taking great care with each volume to give you a definitive collection that will brighten your bookshelves, and I hope that shines through!

So whether you’ve been reading Bestie on Instagram, in the comics magazine Pondus, or in your daily newspaper: A very warm welcome to the shop!

PS: If you would like a personal dedication inside your book, just leave a note in the cart page before checking out!

All the best, Kenneth
